Architectural Designer, Saranac Lake, NY
This position requires working at least three days per week in our office in Saranac Lake, NY.

Job Summary:
Responsible for assisting project teams and working on a variety of projects, from schematic design through construction administration by working effectively with the Project lead to produce 2D and 3D design deliverables. Additional responsibilities include researching and documenting building systems, assemblies, and other potential specifications, as well as, project code requirements. Architectural Designers will attend and document client, consultant, and contractor meetings.
Required Qualifications:
● 1-3 years of relative work experience
● A strong passion for learning
● Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to check work for accuracy, omissions, and legibility.
● Strong verbal and written communication skills
● A collaborative and professional work ethic
● Strong sense of self-efficacy to achieve results
● Digital graphic experience with Adobe Creative Suite
● BIM modeling experience (Archicad preferred)
Preferred Qualifications:
● Undergraduate or Master’s Degree in Architecture
● Commitment to obtaining professional registration in New York State
● Strong interest in sustainable, high-performance, low-carbon design
● Passive House Certification (CPHC or CPHD&C)
● LEED accreditation
Compensation:
Salary range is $42,000-$70,000 based on experience.
