Boathouse

Building on the footprint of a grandfathered structure presented the opportunity to design a boathouse with living quarters, including a kitchen, bedroom and a bathroom. The layout is creatively arranged to fit two boat slips, while the timber-frame design maximizes lake views. A classic Adirondack boathouse with a Japanese arts and crafts feel is a nod to the time the client spent in Japan.
